COVID-19 Information Page
The Heritage Community strives each day to provide a safe and healing environment for our students and caregivers. Heritage has invested in special electrostatic spray disinfecting equipment to sanitize facilities and the residential homes. This weekly sanitization method complements our daily cleaning and sanitizing protocols. On-campus transmission has been eliminated for many months. Heritage has also established strict protocols if students or caregivers demonstrate any symptoms of illness, including testing of any who have been exposed to COVID-19.

Our 19-acre campus also allows our teams to protect our students from any individual or home of students who may show signs of illness. Our medical caregivers monitor off-campus transmissions and caregiver illnesses to minimize possible exposure on campus.
The following policies apply to our caregivers and visitors to the campus:
Mask Policy
The Heritage Community caregivers and all visitors who are not vaccinated are required to wear a mask when indoors or otherwise not able to maintain social distancing outdoors. As conditions and transmission rates change, this policy will be amended to accommodate greater safety measures.
Visitation Policy
Approved family may arrange on-campus and off-campus visits through the student's therapist. Parent weekends are being held quarterly with no restrictions at this time. Heritage reserves the right to change this policy based on transmission rates and exposure potential.
Vaccination Policy
Students and caregivers are strongly encouraged to receive the COVID-19 vaccination or complete a waiver form and submit the form to the Medical Center. Students must have parent approval prior to receiving the vaccination.
